I'd been reading with great pleasure up until I reached the words Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. Then I gasped aloud. I've always wanted to hear that live and I cry to myself everytime I attempt to play it at home and butcher it beyond recognition. Florence sounds amazing, I'm sad I didn't make a better effort to get there. I totally agree with you that there's nothing quite like 3 or 4 days of frantic activity to make you feel refreshed. Keep it up :)
